What Is On Your Retaining Wall?

The new front entry really added some curb appeal to this home.

It seems most of our landscaping projects have a definite pattern of the type of work we do. This season has been tremendous with outdoor rooms, backyard installations with paver patios and segmental retaining wall installations. In the last two weeks though I have been bidding more and more Cultured Stone facing work. Currently we are facing a foundation of a home with cultured stone. I have just landed a CMU block wall installation that will include facing with thin split Camas Stone. Yesterday, I bid a old CMU block wall that needs repair and the possibility of facing with cultured stone. I don’t know why things work this way, but I am pretty sure more of these types of projects will be coming our way. This is what I mean by patterns of the type of work we do.

When getting retaining wall estimates, make sure the landscape contractor is experienced in building walls, comes on time for the estimate and of course has a price point that you agree with.
